Beverley Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team are planning another low key police community weapon sweep/search in Blagdon Park, and would like to invite members of the local community to come along and get involved.
This is a great opportunity to meet your local police team and help form stronger links in the community. We are looking for 10-15 volunteers to come along and assist the team with the search (Unfortunately we cannot accommodate under 18's)
The event will involve each person searching a small area of the park, and notifying a member of the police team should they come across anything. (Please note, an element of bending will be involved, however, we will do our best to accommodate this should you feel it may be an issue) On the day you will receive a full briefing and be provided with safety gloves.
We are planning to hold this event on SATURDAY 20th JANUARY 2018 at 1500 hours (Meeting at Blagdon Park)
If this is something that you maybe interested in please email beverley.snt@met.police.uk
We hope to hear from you soon
Kind regards
Laura and the team

The Metropolitan Police Site has a useful addition which allows for accurate area checks on crime and other statistics by entering your Post Code.

Sadly 'the find a Police Station' tells me that C1 tower is my nearest and in the next Paragraph tells me it is shut and I must travel to Kingston if you require face to face contact, or need to hand something in.
